Scott is a Managing Director/Investments serving executives, entrepreneurs, and ultra-high-net-worth families on the complexities of significant wealth. He specializes in developing highly customized strategies that integrate investment planning with liquidity planning, tax efficiency, and long-term wealth transfer. Scott works closely with each client and their broader advisory team to address complex balance sheets, concentrated equity positions, and sophisticated alternative investments. His team currently oversees more than $1 billion in client assets, reflecting the trust placed in their disciplined and personalized approach.
Prior to joining Stifel, Scott advised ultra-high-net-worth clients at Jefferies, where he provided investment, credit, and planning services. Prior to Jefferies, Scott was a Private Banker and Advisor with JPMorgan Private Bank. His experience across market cycles informs a steady, pragmatic approach, particularly during periods of uncertainty or transition. Scott holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. He earned his MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan.
Originally from Michigan, Scott is based in Chicago and values time with his wife, their two children, and their rescue dogs. He enjoys traveling, having visited all 50 states, six continents, and more than 40 countries, and staying active through fitness, tennis, and the (very) occasional round of golf.
